When it comes to finding out that you are suffering from heart disease often one of your first thoughts is what do I do now. Since the beginning of the foundation of the heart federation and the fundraising heart month which is now an annual event there are plenty of facilities that can help answer the question of what do I do now. By getting in touch with local medical advisors they can tell you the process and procedures of the operation is you will require on. If you are only at risk of heart disease then this is the time to do something about it.

There are many millions of Americans that are dying of heart problems however the government has its money tied up in other schemes which means that funding for heart month is something that must come out of the people’s pocket. Many people are embarrassed by the fact that the American government spends billions of dollars each year fighting a phantom enemy when the fact is the heart disease is the biggest killer and only a small portion of funding goes to this research. If the government spent the same amount of money on heart disease as it did on terrorism then the heart problems would most likely have been solved by now.

In all the major developed countries there are specialized organizations which devote their time to the biggest killer of Australians and Americans which is heart disease. Why is it that only the developed countries have heart foundations while the poor countries have none? Most people would think that the undeveloped nations of the world cannot afford medicine let alone pay the high price of running a nonprofit organization. Not only is it an expense they cannot afford but it is also one that they do not need. People in developed countries are overweight and unhealthy because of their lifestyle, the oversized meals and ease of getting fast food.

In Africa and India there are no such problems because there is very little of the population that can pay for meals that are too big and they have no spare time to sit around getting lazy and fat. So fortunately it is only the developed nations that need the aid of a heart foundation mostly because for the sake of convenience in life. The latest conspiracy in America revolves around funding of a few billion dollars for the research for preventing heart disease which is currently killing around half a million Americans every year compared to the hundreds of billions they are using to fight terrorism which only kills sever hundred people per year.

The heart foundation in Australia is responsible for many operations as a part of its everyday running. Producing information and passing this on to the public is one of their many tasks so that the nation’s public is made aware of the dangers in being overweight, smoking or having a sedentary lifestyle because all of these factors, especially combined, will lead to eventual heart disease. It is not if but when for many people because they are not taking care of their heart, the only muscle in the body that cannot repair itself. With exercise and good nutrition the effects of heart disease can be reduced and even reversed. Heart month is all about supporting the prevention of the biggest killer of developed countries by providing information to the masses and raising money for more funding and research to help those people affected by heart disease.
